LINEN

Flax fiber commonly known as linen in the oldest known textile.

Counted among the most requested composite materials, flax fiber is considered a valid eco-sustainable alternative, it requires between 2 and 5 times less energy to produce per unit weight than glass fibre.

Linen fiber is the perfect solution for those who appreciate a natural look in their final result. On the unidirectional format it can resemble the grain of wood while in the woven version it can be compared to carbon fiber twill.

The transformation

In the manufacturing process, the natural fibers are combined with the resin, similar to the carbon fiber.

The color becomes noticeably darker but also gains depth. In Dtlaes the possible finish can be gloss matt or neutral.
